I am an Environmental Science major and
Geography minor at the University of North
Carolina, interested in environmental finance
and renewable energy. I currently work as a
Student Data Analyst at UNC’s
Environmental Finance Center, and I am a
Student Congress Representative for the
Renewable Energy Special Projects
Committee. After graduating, I plan to
pursue a master’s degree in Business or
Public Administration. In the future I am
planning to work in renewable energy
finance. I’ve recently become interested in
non-profit work, as well, and would like to
study ways that European countries have
managed to make renewable energy
affordable (through co-ops, etc).
Alternatively, I think it would be interesting
to study the European mindset towards
sustainability, to try and determine why
Europeans tend to support environmental
regulation more than American voters.
